Aerial photography is taken from thousands of feet above the ground and can be shot using a variety of machinery including fixed-wing aircraft, helicopters, unmanned aerial vehicles (drones), blimps, parachutes and vehicle-mounted poles. These different approaches to shooting aerial images ensure that our FAA-licensed photographers capture the most flattering angles so you receive the ultimate marketing-worthy images.

As for technique, aerial images are most often taken from an angle. This technique is also referred to as “oblique” and is great for capturing specific details like complex architecture and design. Aerials can also be taken at a downward angle, or “vertically”. Vertical aerials are best for displaying less detail-oriented subjects such as open spaces and/or large surrounding areas.
